Property Operations Summer Intern

United Realty’s Property Operations Summer Intern is a full-time position that will be integral in supporting the Operations Team with Summer move-in/out processes, reviewing move-out inspection reports, creating work-orders, assisting with security deposit reconciliations, and helping to reduce delinquent resident balances. While not directly customer facing, this position requires strong communication skills. A successful Summer Intern must be a team player, act with integrity, lead by example, able to have fun, results oriented, able to think outside the box, possess a long-term mindset, take ownership of their work, customer focused, and want to create win-win situations. Working hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assist with the resident move-in process by providing keys and move-in packets, answering basic lease questions, showing residents how to pay rent, and informing residents about the move-in inventory form.
  • Support the coordination of unit turns by performing and reviewing move-out inspection reports and creating work-orders for vendors to turn units.
  • Help with security deposit reconciliations after residents move-out.
  • Produce documentation needed to collect on delinquent resident balances.
  • Prepare resident move-in packets with new keys, information on paying rent, frequently asked lease questions, and move-in inventory forms.
  • Answer basic resident questions either through email, phone, or in-person.
  • Coordinate “Summer Fun” events with the Property Director and be involved with the Intern Cookie Bake-Off.
